The Department of Agriculture (DA) is the principal agency of the Philippine government responsible for the promotion of agricultural development. As part of its mission statement, DA provides a policy and regulatory environment conducive to efficient production and distribution of agribusiness commodities through governance and institutional support, thereby establishing more efficient logistics and improved retailing linkages.

The Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) regulates and supervises the practices of the professionals who constitute the highly skilled manpower of the country. It is the agency-in-charge of the professional sector, the PRC plays a strategic role in developing the corps of professionals for industry, commerce, governance and the economy. Its mandate is to "Nurture Filipino Professionals towards the technical proficiency and the civic responsibility in the service of the Filipino Nation".

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is the prime agency of government responsible for the pursuit of the States foreign policy and the nerve center for a Foreign Service. It aims to contribute to the enhancement of national security and the protection of the territorial integrity and national sovereignty; participate in the national endeavor to sustain development and to enhance the Philippines competitive edge in a global milieu; protect the rights and promote the welfare of Filipinos overseas and to mobilize them as partners in national development; project a positive image of the Philippines; increase international understanding of Philippine culture for mutually-beneficial relations with other countries; and increase and maximize human, financial, technological and other resources to optimize the performance of the Department.

The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) is the country's independent economic development and planning agency. It is a governmental body that ensures the economic and efficient delivery of public services and needs.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) aims to rationalize the land transportation service and facilities and to implement effectively the various transportation laws, rules and regulations. Its mandate and functions are the inspection and registration of motor vehicles, issuance of licenses and permits, enforcement of land transportation rules and regulations, adjudication of traffic cases, and the collection of revenues for the government.

The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) is the sole body that exercises jurisdiction over the supervision, adjudication and control over all telecommunications services throughout the country. It adopts and promulgates such guidelines, rules, and regulations relative to the establishment operation and maintenance of various telecommunications facilities and services nationwide.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is one of the three departments of the government undertaking major infrastructure projects and is mandated to undertake (a) the planning of infrastructure, such as roads and bridges, flood control, water resources projects and other public works, and (b) the design, construction, and maintenance of national roads and bridges, and major flood control systems.

The department functions as the engineering and construction arm of the Government to continuously develop its technology for the purpose of ensuring the safety of all infrastructure facilities and securing for all public works and highways the highest efficiency and quality in construction.

The Philippines' Philippine Ports Authority, abbreviated as PPA, is an agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Transportation and Communications responsible for financing, management and operations of public ports throughout the Philippines. Its goal is to implement an integrated port system to accelerate maritime trade and commerce and carry forward the Government's objective of transforming the Philippines into an industrialized country.
