GSI bags eNTC project

GSI was awarded the contract for the eNTC Phase 1 Project, beating five other bidders. eNTC Phase 1 is a 15.25 million peso project under the National Telecommunications Commission to include the development of the NTC Web Portal computerization of the Radio Operator Walk-In Examination System (WISE), establishment of a records management workflow and conversion of critical documents into digital format and preparation of detailed design specifications for the NTC's ICT information systems framework. The eNTC Phase 1 is part of the agency's efforts to enhance its ability to carry outs its functions by improving its frontline services, streamlining its critical business processes, improving its supervision and monitoring capability, and increasing revenue collection.

 

GSI will leverage on IBM middleware to deliver the requirements of the Project, specifically:

  • WebSphere Application Server-Express
  • Rational Application Developer for WebSphere
  • WebSphere Portal Express
  • DB2 UDB Workgroup Server Unlimited, and
  • DB2 Content Manager Express
